St
arving: Can We Feed Everyone? is out from Enslow Publishing. It's part of the “The End of Life As We Know It” series which explores the impact we are having on the earth and what we need to do about it. My title includes facts and info on how food is grown, harvested, packaged, and processed–and how that affects the environment. Possible solutions, such as agroecology, are presented along with real ways teens can take action now–from tracking types of foods eaten to helping at soup kitchens or starting a community garden. I love the layout!

The middle of March was the height of season but I made time to meet with Christy Hinton, 1 of 6 interviewers on the LCV (Local Content Vehicles) Cities Tour teams, to discuss my book, The Right to Counsel: from Gideon v. Wainwright to Gideon's Trumpet. LCV visited Fort Myers, Fla. to explore the nonfiction scene & history of the area. The segments will run on the Cities Tour Book TV program April 19-20, 2014.
